Research
My research has focused on different topics: AI, society, and social science research methods; social media and social movements; the social and cultural dynamics of political violence; labor migration; and ethnic and national identity. Some of this research was based on fieldwork I conducted in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Morocco betwen 2010 and 2018.
